Description:
Greenlight Technical Consulting has an immediate need with its client for a Software Engineer who has a background with Embedded Integration. In this role you will support various handset OEMs in the integration of device software. In this role you will be expected to troubleshoot difficult integration problems and come up with correct solutions to these matters.

- Bachelor’s in CS or EE, Masters preferred
- 5 or more years of experience with C and C++, with strong code-debugging skills
- 5 or more years of experience with embedded devices, preferably mobile devices
- Strong experience with wireless telecom protocols, specifically GSM/GPRS, EDGE, UMTS
- Experience with embedded OSs such as Windows Mobile, Symbian, Linux, VxWorks and so on
- Experience with embedded debugging environments and tools
- Experience with network simulators is a plus
- Commitment to engineering quality through regression testing and full system testing
- Demonstrated leadership competencies in a highly technical environment
