Wireless Software QA Engineer-Boston, MA
Description:
Our client is seeking 2 experienced QA Software Engineers who have a background in Wireless technologies such as GSM, UMTS, WiFi, or WiMAX. In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of mobile (wireless) analytic software components for the wireless marketplace. You will work as a member of a SIM development team to specify the design and develop critical mobile wireless measures and KPI data transformation and valication algorithms. Ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficient in OOA and OOD using Java and Grid computing techniques.
Requirements:
- Must have GSM, UMTS, WiFi or WiMax experience
- Should have a strong understanding of protocols such as GPRS, PPP, TCP, UDP, SIP and RTP
- Mobile application experience such as Internet Browsers, MMS, cell cameras, Media and SMS technologies
- 4 years of OOA/D, UML and Modeling
- 4 years of Software development experience with Java, XML, CLST and SQL
- Experience in a Linux environment
- J2EE and ODBC/JDBC
